Blueberry Fields is done! The quilting was an adventure. I had just enough thread to do the design in my head....but it didn't work quite the way I thought it would. I suppose there is a case to be made for doing at least a quick sketch before forging ahead!
I had decided on a grid and in my head I knew exactly where all the lines would cross...but they didn't. So this is a Plan B quilt! But it worked! I had just enough thread to finish it.
And it is so cute! Thanks Lori at Humble Quilts!
And just 3 days left to enter to win EQ7! I am so excited! I can hardly wait to see who wins!

Wow Ann those are all so beautiful.....I am not worthy but would still like to win the EQ7. Have a good day. Sharon
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a Plan A quilt to me! (so I wouldn't utter the words Plan B lol!). Also love how wonderful the brown binding does bring it together. A great finish and a fantastic quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love your little quilt set with the blue! That narrow scrappy inner border was a brilliant idea. The quilting looks wonderful to me. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the extra border on your quilt. You inspired me. I have been back to my sewing room to see if I could do the same, but more than just one 1,5 inch border I could not do with the fabric I had.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilt! It is just stunning!

ReplyDeletelove the blue and that inner border makes this a stand out quilt~!!~
mine is still in the "i can't make a decision about the setting fabric stage" ~lol~
seeing yours is very inspiring though . . . maybe i need to consider a skinny inner border . . .

I like the border too! Your Blueberry Fields is uniquely your own. It has been fun to quilt along.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt: I love it: Blueberry Fields!
ReplyDeleteI really like how your pieced blocks stand out and your border is inspired.

I love your blueberry take on the strawberry quilt -- the fabrics you selected are just wonderful, and now I wish I had added a border because yours looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteYour Blueberry Fields is just delightful! Wasn't this a fun QAL? I love how your 9 patches seems to float on the blue fabric. It gives it zing.
