The Geese are Done!!!!

Finally after months of sewing geese, the quilt is pieced! And I love it!

This picture does not do it justice but I only have a small space and it is a BIG quilt.

It is a such a summery quilt that it is no surprise it will be on my bed in the summer. I'm going to get this quilt log-armed in the next few weeks so it should be ready for my bed when summer does finally arrive!

So now I can move onto another UFO...what to choose???

But that is not all I've been doing. I finally finished quilting the first two borders on the applique quilt that I am hand quilting. I finished marking the last two borders and the quilting has begun!

Although I still have so much quilting to do but I can't help but feel excited as I get closer to the end!

And a small lesson...when marking a quilt pay more attention to the quilt than to Coronation Street on TV!

See those double lines? I was a little out in my marking!

Happy Stitching!

More UFO's done!!!!

Despite being away for a week and working faithfully on my hand quilting, I have managed to get a couple small UFO's completed! This little quilt (just 22" square!) has been lying around just waiting for binding. I even had the binding cut out!!!

And I love this striped binding!

These next UFO's were two tote bags made from a small batik jelly roll! They are a perfect size!

It was a fun and easy bag pattern to make too!

And just because I like to have a pair of socks on the go...this pattern is Jaywalker Socks by Grumperina! I have made them before and really liked them. It's an easy pattern that doesn't require your complete attention! Just what I am looking for!

And now a hand quilting update...I am almost finished border #2. I am hoping by next weekend I'll have the last 2 sides marked and started. Yes...I will have it finished in time for the quilt show in Moose Jaw at the end of April!

Back to my UFO's!!! Happy Stitching!
