A Gazillion Geese

Ok, maybe not a gazillion geese, but close to it...

We finally had a short break from the heat and I was able to not just sew but actually turn on my iron without roasting. What a treat!

Now the heat is back so I won't be in my sewing room for at least the rest of the week, but when I do I can get started sewing these into groups of 8 for my Wild Goose Chase sashing.

Happily, I am prepared for the summer. I pinned my third border for my applique quilt so that will keep me busy.

It's going to be a beauty and I find myself already wondering how I am going to quilt it.

Happy Stitching!

  1. I'm looking forward to seeing the applique quilt. The borders look lovely as well as what I can see of the quilt in the background. As to the flying geese - they remind me of how many half sq triangles I had to make for my one quilt. Great when finished!
