Congratulations! I would love to win it to do contemporary quilts! How else would I ever be able to guesstimate my fabric needs for them? Thanks for the chance!ReplyDelete
Congratulations! I haven't had the pleasure of using any of the EQs...yet. They look like a wonderful tool though. I would love to design some applique blocks though.ReplyDelete
Wow - what a great give away. Thanks for the chance to win.ReplyDelete
What a great contest Ann... I used to have the EQ4 but was too busy working full-time to use it. Now that I am part-time I would love to learn the new EQ7 and do contemporary quilts.ReplyDelete
I do not have EQ but have had my eye on it for sometime. I would probably design a quilt I could sew on the treadle I just purchased first but then some modern quilts.ReplyDelete
Sweet! I have EQ6 and would love the nifty features available in EQ7. I just posted a quilt I designed on my blog (feel free to borrow the images)ReplyDelete
oh and I have a nice giveaway going on for mother's day too!
I am so excited for you...Congratulations.ReplyDelete
I was just talking about getting one the other day. I would love to design a traditionl quilt using the EQ7.
Hi, I have EQ5 and I design traditional quilts with a modern flair. (or at least that I what I think they are.)ReplyDelete
So nice that you won. I love seeing all these lucky people, still wish I was one of them. I have used my moms EQ6 but dont have my own copy. I like contemporary quilts mostly but I still like some traditionals too.ReplyDelete
Congrats on your win! I have EQ5 but never upgraded to 6. I've made both but seem to lean a bit more towards contemporary quilts or if it's traditional then it's with a twist. :-)ReplyDelete
Congratulations! I have version 6 and love to play around with block settings and layouts.ReplyDelete
Congratulations!! I also have 6, Dear Jane, Dear Hannah & Farmer's Wife. I love a modern approach to traditional quilting...and I'm a bit obsessed with 1930s prints.ReplyDelete
i linked this giveaway on the top of my blog, thanks for this chanceReplyDelete
i currently do not own any eq software. i have 4 kids, and that is an extra that i just do not have in my budget, it is hard enough to have the money to make quilts. i so appreciate this chanceReplyDelete
Congratulations on your fabulous win! I only just got the EQ6 recently and have not really learned how to use it yet. I’d love to be entered in your drawing for the EQ7! Thanks!ReplyDelete
Congrats on your big win & thanks for spreadin’ the love!ReplyDelete
I would appreciate a chance to win an awesome EQ7!! I have never owned any EQ software so I'd really love to win one from you!
Come on Mr. Random number picker! pick me! pick me!♥
Congrats! I do not have any EQ software (haven't been able to convince my other half that it's a necessity yet!) but I would love to win. I make mainly contemporary quilts or traditional quilts with a contemporary twist.ReplyDelete
i do not own this!!! i would love it since i seem to just figure it out on a piece of paper and trial and error!!ReplyDelete
I don't have any EQ software, but I would love to try it! I would like to design some modern quilts.ReplyDelete
I posted about this giveaway on my blog:ReplyDelete

Congrats for winning! Maybe I can be a winner too!ReplyDelete
I have EQ3,4,5,6 and will have 7. hope to win it. I use EQ to size quilts and figure out and design patterns.ReplyDelete
I have been designing patchwork pieces for many years. I have had to use brown paper patterns, calculator and geometry set as well as recalling theorums from high school geometry classes. I would appreciate an easier way to calculate fabric needs.ReplyDelete
Congrats on your win! I don't have EQ but would LOVE to learn how to use it and design my quilts online. I make both traditional and contemporary quilts, mostly with modern fabrics.ReplyDelete
I do not have EQ (yet) -- I'm guessing I'll start with traditional, but expect to end up with contemporary as confidence grows. Good luck to all of us :-)ReplyDelete
I used to have eq4 (a looong time ago) and lost it - would love to have the new version! I love antique quilts and replacating things I have seen, usually with a little bit of a contemporary twist. Thanks for the opportunity!ReplyDelete
Congrats on YOUR win, I would love to win this software!!ReplyDelete

Congratuations on the win! I started using EQ when version 6 came out - friends told me I just had to have it and they were right! I do both traditional and contemporary projects with it, offer EQ file downloads on my blog and BOM projects in pdf for those who don't use it. Especially love it for drawing applique - so much better than paper and pencil (and large eraser). It makes it so easy to share with other quilters.ReplyDelete
Denise - Madison, WI
Congrats on winning EQ7! I would love to win a copy, too!ReplyDelete
Congratulations - I don't have any version of EQ - was thinking about 6 and had asked for it for Christmas when suddenly I heard about 7. I want to design photo-mosaic type quilts as well as some contemporary. I can't get the extra entry for designing something because I don't have the tools to work with...YET! :-(ReplyDelete
I blogged it too at http://artbygene.blogspot.com/2010/05/wanna-do-some-eq.htmlReplyDelete
How exciting for you! I have EQ6 and love traditional quilts! I received the Classic Applique Folkart and 1920-30's Applique patterns for Christmas and am having a blast! Can't wait to get into the Farmer's Wife I recently purchased :) I would love to play with EQ7!ReplyDelete
Congratulations! What a fantastic prize, and then to be able to share the joy - woohoo! I've been using EQ6 since the Christmas after it came out, and I had EQ5 before that. It's a joy to work with, and I'm looking forward to EQ7. Thanks for the opportunity!ReplyDelete

Congrat on the win. I do have EQ5 so the up grade would be great. Hope you have alot of fun with it.ReplyDelete
i don't have the eq yet, but i would love to own one. i would do all different types of quilts. i try to design quilts now using grid paper, but the eq would be so much nicer. i just haven't had the cash to buy one.ReplyDelete
Congratulations on your win. I haven't experienced EQ before and would love the chance to play. A win would make the experience so much more exciting, plus save me having to save up for it. I only know what I have seen in the mags and on the blogs, seems like you can do heaps with it, I would have to try it all, I'm not fussy!!ReplyDelete
I would love to win the EQ since I have never had the pleasure to experience it before. I like to work with both traditional and contemporary quilts and would love to play with the program to come up with my own versions.ReplyDelete
I would love the opportunity to try out EQ7.ReplyDelete
This is so exciting. I already have EQ6 and love it. It is excellent in helping to to place fabrics before cutting into your stash.ReplyDelete
I'll email you one of my designs.
What a great way to spread the excitement for EQ7. I have not yet purchased EQ.ReplyDelete
I have EQ5 and love it-but I know EQ7 is so much better! I like contemporary quilts best.ReplyDelete
Congrats on winning EQ7 and providing a chance for us to win also.ReplyDelete
I do have EQ6 and have been reading about the new features on 7
I design more traditional quilts than contemps.
I would love to win EQ7. I have never been able to afford earlier versions (and it looks like I will have problems buying it now), so I will always try to win. Thanks for the chance.ReplyDelete
As for what I would use it for - who knows. That is the joy of a program like this, I have no idea what I might decide to try.
I have added a comment on my blog: http://just1morestitch.blogspot.comReplyDelete
Thanks for the extra chance.
Please count me in! I never used EQ but was just investigating purchasing EQ6 when I discovered that 7 was being released. I plan on using it to help me recreate quilts from the 19th century.ReplyDelete
Yay you! I hope I'm lucky too.ReplyDelete
Please count me in! Great giveaway! I don't have EQ but I have been thinking about getting it. I like traditional quilts with a twist - using a traditional design with more contemporary fabrics.ReplyDelete
I've been wanting this program for a long time. I have never designed a quilt pattern but I really want to, if I had this program I could do some awesome things.ReplyDelete
Congratulations. I don't own a quilting program, but would love this. I like traditional patterns in modern fabrics and colors, so that's what I would use it for. Thanks for the chance!ReplyDelete
This is an awesome contest! I'm fairly new to quilting, and I've been longing for this program. My dream is to design a quilt based on one of my other loves, the Walt Disney World Resort, and I think having the EQ7 would greatly enhance my ability to make an awesome themed quilt!ReplyDelete
I do not already own one of the EQ versions and would absolutely love to win a copy of EQ7! I'd use it to design contemporary quilts!ReplyDelete

I have EQ6 and would love EQ7 to move to modern quilts.ReplyDelete
EQ7 would be wonderful to design contemporary (a.k.a. modern) quilts that I have "floating around in my head." I have never used EQ yet have seen the demos on Quilting Arts. Thank you for the opportunity.ReplyDelete
I have eq 5 or 6 or both I do alot of applique. I draw deer, eagles, chipmunks, squirrels etc. Thats why it would be nice to win so my photo is save with the block. Happy you won. shellReplyDelete

I have EQ5 and I'm looking forward to the improved block drawing features of EQ7. I design a little bit of everything - whatever strikes my fancy.ReplyDelete
I have had my eye on the EQ's for years. I would use it to design everything! I would probably make up quilts just for fun.ReplyDelete
I would love to win the EQ7, I have used EQ5 to make a couple of simple quilts, but do not really have a style as yet. i just like the patterns and colors to call to me.ReplyDelete
Oh, I'd love to win a copy. I am new to quilting and it would be so lovely to be able to design before cutting and hoping for the best! (lot to learn... I know!!)thanks for the chance to win!ReplyDelete
I currently am using my EQ6 and I have been reading about all the newest features in EQ7. Oh how I would so LOVE to upgrade!ReplyDelete

I don't have EQ7 and have never used it... but I'd love to! I am into contemporary quilts, but also love traditional quilts... so who knows which direction I may go... both??ReplyDelete
I have just designed my first "mini-quilt" and hope to get into designing many more quilts.
I've posted about your giveaway and your blog on my blog, and I'm sending you a pic of my first design!
Thanks for the chance to win!

Contemporary is my game....at least it's what I would love to play....in EQ7!ReplyDelete
a great chance to win the EQ7!ReplyDelete
i tend to lean more towards tradtional quilts with maybe just a smidge of contemporary.
Congrats on being chosen! I would love to have this, been drooling over it but coming off a year of having to really tighten the belt(too bad it is not the one on my jeans), it is not in the budget yet! I have all these ideas in my head and would use it to make those a reality! I think I love traditional with a twist!!!ReplyDelete
Wow! This is a great giveaway. I don't have a previous version, but I would love to own this one. I would design modern quilts with this.ReplyDelete
I had EQ 3-5 and I'd love to win EQ7!ReplyDelete
I usually make traditional quilts and love the history of quilts.
Hi Ann, congratulations on winning....ReplyDelete
I have EQ6 and I'm still learning to use it. My passion is applique so I would love to be able to design traditional style applique blocks and make them in wool, velvet and cord.
What a great give-away !! I would love to win the upgrade version.ReplyDelete
Ohhh, this would be so awesome to win!! Thanks for such a Great giveaway!!! :)ReplyDelete
I would love to win! I don't have any EQ but think that I would design traditional quilts with a contemporary flair :)ReplyDelete
Congratulations. Such fun...all the beautiful things you will create.ReplyDelete
I would love to win and would do more contemporary quilts, but probably a bit of a mix.ReplyDelete
WOW! I love reading all the blogs from quilters and then finding a chance to win something I have long for, EQ program, how great is that! I have the very basic Quilt Design Wizard, all I could afford. On a limited budget, my spending money goes to fabric! imagine that! I would LOVE EQ7 or even an older version to help me design all those quilts in my head! Thanks for the chance(s) to win!ReplyDelete
Ooohhh la la,ReplyDelete
this would be great to win. I read about this giveaway from my sister's Heather's blog. I love all kind of quilts and look forward to making some in the future. Thanks for the chance to win. Good luck to all participants!
Congratulations. I have EQ5 & EQ6.ReplyDelete
I do both traditional and contemporary projects with it.
I did not answer correctly my previous message, so to make it valid, I respond with No, I do not have any version of EQ and I like both contemporay and traditional quilts. I have never designed any but I would definetly give it a try with the proper toolsReplyDelete
Chances are nil that I will win but I will try. I do not have EQ at all. I have read much about it but don't have it. I would design both contemporary and new age quilts. I would try many many different designs, form what I have read the sky is the limit. Let's see what happens.ReplyDelete
Wow, what a great opportunity! I have EQ 5 but working FT didn't leave me much time to play so I never learned to fully use it. I can draw basic quilt designs. What fun it'd be to win this now that I'm retired!ReplyDelete
Congrats! I do not have a copy of EQ, but had been thinking about buying it, when they announced EQ7 was coming out. Then they announced the giveaways! I would use it for both traditional and contemporary. I love trying new things!ReplyDelete
Oooh, lucky thing! I have had EQ5 for about 5 years and have designed and made over 60 quilts with it in that time. I'd describe my designs as traditional with a twist. I'll find a design I haven't made yet to email you...ReplyDelete
Congrats on your win! I currently have EQ5 and I would say that I make traditional quilts. I'd love to try the new features of EQ7. Please count me in for your giveaway! Thanks!ReplyDelete
I don't have any version of EQ and would LOVE to win EQ7. I'd like to design modern quilts with it. Thanks for the giveaway!ReplyDelete
nkaDenver at Yahoo.com
I have just become a follower via Sweet p Quilting as she mentioned you on her blog. Born and raised in SK I know just how generous a quilting prairie gal can be. No experience with this give away but would love for this to be a new beginning. Thanks for the give away!ReplyDelete
I don't own any EQ's but have a friend who uses it all the time. I would love to be included in this giveaway. Thanks a lot.ReplyDelete
I would love to win EQ7! I do have EQ, but no photo to show you...I do use it a lot when I amd designing and planning a quilt!ReplyDelete
I don't have EQ7 now, I have wanted it for years. I would use it to design contemporary, modern quilts. I love making up my own patterns.ReplyDelete
I don't think I told you yet I have posted your link on my blog.ReplyDelete
I have EQ6 and use it to plan most of my quilts. I like playing with traditional blocks to come up with contemporary quilts.ReplyDelete
i use a composition book of graph paper for planning quilts - it drives me CRAZY - i'm a techno-idiot, but my buddies in blogland would help me figure out EQ7 - right blockland buddies?!?ReplyDelete
Congratulations on being one of the lucky 10. I do not have any EQ and began to realize how much that would help when designing a quilt to use a specific fabric called Dance with the Fairies by Eleanor Peace Bloom. It has many fairies that must be fussy cut to use efficiently. As I used graph paper and colored pencils I began to covet this program. I guess I don't care if they are traditional or contemporary. I have made both. The Fairies one turns out to be a version of the Ohio Star. . .YIKES.ReplyDelete
I'd LOVE EQ7. so I am crossing my fingers. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
I HAD an EQ version (4 or 5 I think) and when I got my new computer it wouldn't work with Vista...I decided that seeing as I had hardly used it I wouldn't bother getting a new one, however, I now regret that decision...and I am going to have to just get over the price and go for it!!...unless of course I'm lucky enough to win it!! LOLReplyDelete
Congrats on your EQ7 win!! :)ReplyDelete
I have version 6 and I'm new to that. Just lovin' it!! I designed the piecing for my purse pictured here on my blog. http://jmquilts.wordpress.com/2010/04/21/paint-chip-challenge/
I'll email you an image as well.
I have EQ version 4, would love to check this one out!ReplyDelete
I have never owned or used any version of EQ and would love to try it!ReplyDelete
I haven't used EQ before but I've decided its time I had a go. I'd design traditional and modern quilts! I seem to alternate between the two. I guess different moods and different fabrics inspire the different styles. That's the great thing about quilting! So many quilts to make and so little time. That's where EQ7 would come in handy!! CheersReplyDelete
I don't have EQ but have always wanted to try it. I have heard great things about it. I just have to cross my fingers and hope I win :-)ReplyDelete
I have EQ5 and then upgraded to EQ6 and would love to win #7. I love to play around with traditional blocks and see what I can change. ThanksReplyDelete
congrats on your win..ReplyDelete
i dont have any previous EQ programs..
but i design blocks, quilts, and house floor plans using quad pads/books..
i also draw out blocks that i see to break them down into sections that i can easily use myself..
would love to have EQ7 to use and for others to come and use also..
congrats on your win ... way to go ... so happy for you ... hopefully i am as lucky as you ... i have wanted EQ for sooooooo long ... though i consider myself new quilter ... but as i do lot of charity quilts it would give me new ideas and easier design solutions ... at least thats what i am hoping for ... :)ReplyDelete
I had a great time designing a Storm at Sea quilt on EQ5 – it was great to have the fabric and piece lists. Would love to be able to move up to EQ7!ReplyDelete
I don't have a copy of Any of the EQ programms but I think I am at the stage of my quilting where I could use one. I like to try and change patterns around to make them my own but seem to need some help with the math and especially colours so I definately could do with a copy of EQ7.ReplyDelete
I have EQ4. Would love an updated version! Traditional quilts are my favorite. Thanks for a chance at this giveaway!ReplyDelete
I started with EQ5, upgraded to EQ6, and look forward to EQ7. I design some traditional quilts, some contemporary quilts, and also embroidery and rug hooking projects. I am looking forward to....designing MORE! Congrats on winning EQ7!ReplyDelete
Hi and Congratulations for winning EQ7. Here's hoping I win one too. I do have a previous version, EQ6, but moved just as it arrived in the mail. It remains unopened as I have just started unpacking the quilty stuff. If I am lucky enough to win EQ7, I know just who will receive my previous version.ReplyDelete
Congratulations on winning EQ7, Ann! Thanks for giving me the chance to win one, too. I've never owned it before. I make both traditional and contemporary quilts so would love to use EQ7 to design them with.ReplyDelete
Congratulation :-) Thanks for letting me getting a chance to win one too. I have made a link to this contest in my blogg. What I will do with the EQ7 is to design most contemporary quilts at first, but also some traditionals later. Whish to be the lucky one. Have a great week.ReplyDelete
I have EQ6, and would love to upgrade. I do mostly 'traditional with a twist'-kind of quilts..ReplyDelete
I have EQ6 and I love both traditional and contemporary quilts! It would be a dream to win EQ7, thanks for the opportunity! Jenna LousieReplyDelete
Congratulations with your EQ7!ReplyDelete
Please count me in for your drawing!
I have EQ 4 and 5. I am a traditional quilter. My husband likes to design quilts that are borderline for each category.ReplyDelete
I've never used EQ but I'm ready to learn! I will design contemporary quilts with the program.ReplyDelete
I looked into getting EQ6, but just couldn't justify the cost when I'm a newbie quilter. I love everything that is happening in the modern quilt movement, so if I win EQ7, I'd definitely use it to make contemporary designs.ReplyDelete
Oh, I would LOVE to win! How fantastic.ReplyDelete
No, I do not own EQ. I am afraid that I would spend more time on EQ than I would cleaning the house, etc. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I guess. haha.ReplyDelete
I like designing traditional quilts with modern color/touches.
I don't have any version of EQ and I've never tried it but I would love to. I currently make mostly traditional quilts but I'm sure I would try it out for more modern items as well.ReplyDelete
I don't have EQ yet - I have never seen it in person I have only read about it on blogs. I would love to design all sorts of quilts with it from traditional to modern.ReplyDelete
I would love this software! My favorite quilts are somewhere between traditional and contemporary. I mostly just need help with knowing what to buy!ReplyDelete
Congrats on your win! I would love to win a copy so that I could try the software. I have heard nothing but good about it. Thanks for the great giveaway!ReplyDelete
Congrats on your win Ann, I thought I had entered but dont see my name, I have never had quilting software and EQ7 sounds amazing and I would love to learn to design quilts, I enjoy both traditional and contemporary.ReplyDelete
Hi and what a lucky lady you are to win a copy of EQ7 ...I too would love to win a copy and so please enter me in your giveaway. I love both styles of quilts but favour contemporary most. I have EQ6 and love it.ReplyDelete
I don´t have any EQ right now but would love to give it a try as I am designing a quilt to teach right now. Sorry, but I can´t share it with you. It is done with pen and paper, but still a secret!ReplyDelete
I dont have EQ7 at the moment being fairly new to quilting. How exciting to have the chance to win! I'm linking to your blog from my blog and keeping everything crossed. two chances to win! I tend to be more contemporary/modern with my quilting.ReplyDelete
I have EQ6 now and would love to upgrade to EQ7. I design traditional quilts, but as I get more experienced, both in quilting and in designing in EQ, I hope I will develop a more modern individual style. I guess a lot of us start out playing with traditional blocks in EQ.ReplyDelete
I will send you one of my designs, too.

I love EQ6 and can't wait to save up for EQ7...so I would love to win. I design a lot of sampler quilts as well as other quilts in my EQ6. With EQ7, it will be even more wonderful! thanks for the chance to win.ReplyDelete
I don't own any EQ yet, but I'd really love to give it a try, please enter me in the drawing!ReplyDelete
Congrats on being one of the 10 winners chosen, and thanks for sharing with all of us!ReplyDelete
I had the original EQ1 many moons ago...dos version, if you can imagine! I've been pining for EQ6, but EQ7 would be even better...! I'm a traditional quilting gal.
Contemporary quilts are much more fun - generally. I don't have any version so would love one.ReplyDelete
I do have EQ6 and so I would only need the upfdate. I love to design quilts, and I love choosing fabrics from the library.ReplyDelete
Thanks for the giveaway!
I have EQ5 and love to design traditional quilts but do want to branch out into contemporary using better computer drawing skills.ReplyDelete
Would just so love to wind.
Thankyou so much for the giveaway
Have a great Sunday
I don't have EQ at all, I have a standalone copy of Dear Jane and have found that the manual for that is excellent. I would love to be able to design contemporary quilts using EQ7.ReplyDelete
I have EQ5. I haven't really done any designing yet, but I plan to do a combination of traditional and contemporary.ReplyDelete
I have never purchased EQ5 or 6, but I have been eyeing EQ7! How awesome it would be to win it! Thanks for including me!!ReplyDelete
I've never had EQ or used it - but am seriously on pins and needles hoping that maybe I'll get lucky and win one that is being given away!!! (congrats to you by the way, you lucky gurl)ReplyDelete
I would use it to design more traditional quilts.. and think it would be a great way to store designs that I see in magazines (recreating them) for my ever growing one day list ;)
Thanks for the chance to win! Hope I'm not too late!
Love from Texas! ~bonnie
I do not own a copy of EQ in any incarnation. I personally would design modern quilts based on traditional elements.ReplyDelete
